Calling All Wine and Food Lovers! It’s the 25th year for Salute!! A Festival of Wine and Food and a benefit for Cottonwood Inc. Mark your calendar for July 11th through July 13th. The festival kicks off Thursday night July 11th with the Mass Street Mosey. Enjoy sampling fine wines, beer, and tasty hors-d’oeuvres at thirteen different venues while strolling through the special ambience of Historic Downtown Lawrence. The Winemaker Dinner is Friday evening July 12th at the Oread Hotel featuring food paired with wines and this year’s winemaker is J Lohr Vineyards. The festival culminates with the Grand tasting Saturday Night July 13th with delicious food, more than 250 wines and spirits and great auctions with rare and fine wine lots, experiences, fine art, and other choice products.
